I have the cutest sister in the whole world. I'd like to travel the whole world with her. Our favorite thing to do is tell stories. Usually about our dad. Because he is freaking hilarious.
Maybe buying Scrabble on my phone was not the best idea. Or the three new books that have nothing at all to do with school. But maybe I'm ready for a really terrible, horrible idea. An awful one that makes no sense at all. For now all I can come up with is Scrabble. Man, I'm exciting
But for the record I'm on a winning streak.
My nursing friend called me on her way home for a lecture to let me know that the reason my hair is falling out, Tasha the reason your nails are breaking and your eyes are throbbing and your weight is dropping is that you have such-and-such and you need to go, now, immediately. Go get tested and poked and pilled.
I laughed. Honey, I know what's wrong with me. And December 15th is the cure. That and an end to this coffee addiction.
I'm trying to find gems, really great moments in my days. So here goes.
Bangs looked really great.
That experimental essay was better than I thought.
Time spent with one of my favorite people ever.
Diet Coke.
The man on the street who gave me one of those looks that made me feel completely woman.
Late night talk with the parents.
No alarm tomorrow.
Favorite song played TWICE.
The dress and tights and scarf and boots that I bundled in.
A new high word in scrabble.
The email from my grandma.
And even though I'm so stressed my body hates me and I'm not sure if I know anything at all, Jesus is still wild about me. This is how I walk, whispering to myself, He's wild about you, wild about you, wild about you.
It's the only thing keeping me from crazy. And it always makes me smile.
What is your favorite song? - H
