Getting ready at the salon with my very grown sister.
His face when he turned and saw me, that tight hug and how good it felt to breathe with each other.
Gathering with my girls for prayer, wrapping our arms-- our bodies around each other while we spoke with our Lord.
Walking down with my father and hearing his whispered command cherish her always as he gave me away.
Our fathers' voices while they prayed over us and my mother's face after.
Our goodbyes to the small, close group left on the patio, the way my family held me before we drove away.
Being vulnerable in a new way, having a cleansing cry, waking up to the water and the sun and him.
This early morning with my Bible, a cup of coffee and a slice of leftover wedding pie, head bent and praying, praying, praying: Abba Father, I need you now more than ever.
"I will NEVER leave you or forsake you."
