We had our own little Christmas this year and then, after eating new year's calamari and watching most of the Die Hards, we hit the road and did what we love most: explored.  Unfortunately, Boise was experiencing its coldest week of the year.  Even more unfortunate was the little sparkle dress I chose to wear while freeze-walking downtown.  Happy New Year to me and my frostbit body.

Sunday morning after dancing with my Sunday kiddos I sat in adult church before the God I have neglected and in the middle of admitting my absolute laziness to Him, He led me to this:

"Our God comes and will not be silent."

And wouldn't you know?  I have been wasting away worrying over the quietness of my life.  The length of the days.  This silent period of rest that I did not ask for.  Closed doors that should be open.  And here He is-- sternly reminding me.  He is and He comes and He will not be quieted and that is more than small, silly me needs.
