In two years I will:
drive a yukon.
wear chacos.
have long hair.
live in Charleston.
be a college prof.
vacation in Greece.
have a yorkie.
be a kite boarder.
and paint my toes with Siberian Knights.
How do I know?
Because MASH told me, that's why.
Remember that game? The one you used to play when you were 12 and still giggled about everything? I haven't out grown it. I haven't out grown a lot of things.
Thank God.
Tonight the meteor shower peaked. We watched a favorite movie and then went for a dip.
Black water is beautiful. And a black sky is even more beautiful. Especially when stars are streaking across.
My good friend asked me if I thought I had changed after being here for two years.
I think I've changed so greatly that it is hard to put it into words. I was a wreck when I got here. A huge, sloppy, broken mess. And I thought I was something grand.
Some kind of prize.
It took me two years to realize how silly I was.
I came here and I fell back in love.
I grew in Jesus.
I learned to see the beauty in people's souls.
The next two years have big shoes to fill.
With Jesus doing the filling those shoes will soon be overflowing! Get ready for the next steps in your walk towards Him!

My heart feels the hole you left here in Sandpoint. I am sad. You are some lady, Tasha! And I am glad to have gotten to know you and can't wait to see what happens next for you.
ReplyDeleteShar, I will miss you so much. I wish that I could have seen you one more time. BUT I will see you at Christmas!
