That is a fake smile. Or a scared smile. Or a scared eye?
But at least it is a smile! Study night one for the semester, done. Bam. Slam bam. And check out that sweet leopard snuggie my dad scored. Oh life is looking so good.
I picked up bridesmaid dress number six yesterday. Thankfully, this one is cute. It would be even cuter if Sarah would let me wear my cowboy boots with it. Fingers crossed.
I met with a friend from last semester today for a study break and she shared one of her daily practices with me. Every day she writes a gratitude list. Dang. That's a lot of positive.
Here's my list for the day:
Dry cleaners who fix my wobbly buttons for free, bless their hearts.
The new skinny drinks at Starbucks.
The way my kids call me Miss Tashie.
My parents' willingness to try crazy food with me.
A brother who calls even though I'm terrible at picking up.
High heels and pencil skirts
Babies to hold.
Heated seats.
1 John.
The promise of Saturday morning.
That's a great couch, love the arm rest :) Love your list and love that you are having a better semester already, even though I miss you tons.
ReplyDeleteI wish you lived HERE. Then I wouldn't drive around aimlessly and talk to myself in my head. I miss you.
ReplyDeleteI do believe Jesus likes your friend's idea of a daily gratitude list. I need to work on that too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Heather, for your very nice compliment on my couch that Tasha was bad-talking about just yesterday. Ha!
Love ya babe,
Mom
Mother.
ReplyDeleteShe is referring to the anti-makeout armrest in the middle of the sofa.
NOT to the aesthetic appeal that beast of a sofa might have to offer.
