Surprise! Red hair. Surprise, surprise! I found a great studio apartment. Surprise, surprise, surprise a good friend sent me sweet smelling flowers.
I can not stop smiling.
Also, I got my bike out today and rode around with my kiddos. It felt like glory. Oh, how I love the promises of spring.
So. I am moving on Saturday. I have no furniture, just mountains of clothes and dishes and pillows. But this apartment is awesome. Huge windows, exposed brick walls, wood floors, vaulted ceilings, AND a claw foot tub I may have jumped up and down and clapped my hands when I saw it.
It's in this really great spot too. At the top of Cinderella wooden stairs in an ancient building. And the best part is I am going to have no television and no internet, just my boxes and boxes of books. Who knows, maybe I'll get crazy and write a little too.
I am very excited. My hair is a crazy color right now, you can't really tell in the picture but if I had to describe it I'd call it Indie Red and make a new crayola crayon for it. But it is making me more bold in class. I figure I already look a fool, I might as well sound one too. And it's really growing on me.
I may keep it for a while.
Alright. Off to write a critique of Wieland (the first American Gothic novel and wildly intriguing, you should check it out).
I like it!! If it was long and curly would it look like that picture you sent me?
