where my feet don't touch the ground

I think God must love snow. Everything clean and perfect and untouched. Life slowing down to almost a stop. Yes, I think He loves it.

I think I love it too. Hanging out with myself in my pajamas all day. And not worrying about what it is that comes next. I love it when life gets canceled. Maybe when that happens, real life can actually start. It's easier to talk to Him when there isn't anyone else distracting. It's easier to be with Him when nothing else is happening.

He's that still while everything else is going round and round and round and round. I'm not sure that life is supposed to feel dizzy. Or that time should be so very important. I think He wants us to slow down, to enjoy Him. To find those loves we have. And to wildly pursue them. The colors and tastes and glimpses of His heart. I think maybe that's part of it. Being alive.
